Customers with diabetes require special consideration. For the most part
diabetics want to comfort the foot against any forces and pressure that can lead
to ulcerations in the foot.
The most serious issue with diabetics is neuropathy (Numbness in the feet is the
most common sign of diabetic foot neuropathy, although tingling, burning, and
intense pains are other signs loss of feeling) in their feet.
For all diabetics, we suggest ordering the Comfort device. Explain to them that
they should pay particular attention of the proper fit of the orthotic to the
foot. |
